All ways have someone there who can help and are happy to do so. You just have to search sometimes.
Just bought a brand new puppy a really rear red min pin with blue eyes. And right after we went to the petco hear and asked them what we would needed ... The staff was friendly but they were not aware of where everything we needed for the dog. Having a company this big you would think someone would be there to tell you what you needed and where to find it .. However they did help us out on the coupon's in the coupon book and the prices on there kennals are dubble then of wall mart ... Only giving a two star because that's what its worth. Sad but every store like this should have a vet or someone who knows what pets need
Too many people want to pet strange dogs or allow their dog in a strange dogs face. That's how fights start. I love this place, but dislike actually having to bring my dog with me.
I was in the other day with a friend. Both of us were getting new pets and all the associates were super helpful! Kate was helping both of us find everything we needed, giving us advice, and answering all our questions. The man who checked me out, Scott, was also amazingly helpful and kind. I will be choosing petco over petsmart any day after having such a wonderful experience.
The employees I've met at this Petco store are super friendly and really know their stuff. I always prefer coming here now because they go above and beyond just answering my questions, they care and they have experience and knowledge. Just a nice laid back atmosphere with real animal people, who won't hesitate to share what they know to make sure you feel confident in your purchases but not pressured in any way.
