If you're looking for just plain and simple, then you found the right place. No flavor, very blah! All you get is one thin slice of meat (and I'm not even a meat lover but come on). Bread is light and fluffy. Way too much mayo. I could have made a better sandwich at home. The staff was nice, spacious sitting area, and beautiful atmosphere. I will not rush to go back.
The sandwiches are good but quality is inconsistent. Sometimes a menu ordered sandwich is full of veggies. Other times the same sub is thin and most bites only get you meat & cheese. One item grosses me out; when the receipt which is handled by the cashier ends up wrapped in with and is stuck to my sandwich. This and the lack of veggies at times turns me off for months at a time before I give them a chance again.
I recommend LIndy's. I have eaten in the restaurant and have had deliveries over the last 6 years. The Food is always good and people friendly, but what impresses me the most is the little things. They don't forget, extra mayo on the side, or a knife etc...It's very obvious they all like their jobs! and it shows to their customers! Thank you for your services over the last 6 years!!!
I have been getting Lindys since the the mid 90s when they were down by UWL. Friends that have moved still talk about missing there favorite sandwich. Great job. Great staff!
